Christopher Bond - Opening Note

Christopher Bond is a Cornish-born composer based in Cardiff. He came to MG with the idea to create modern artwork for his debut album entitled, 'Opening Note.' The current market for brass band CDs are saturated with artwork which is literal, and obvious so we wanted to create a design which was more trivial.

When Christopher came to us, he wanted a fresh, modern looking design and that became our brief. We decided to use a semi modular semi column based layout with a heavy reliance on images to create an interesting product. The cover itself is based on a modern, flat vector design.
